Golf Shaft Pullers, also known as golf shaft extractors, can be used to repair clubs and reshaft them.  Pro shops often charge around $50 to reshaft a single golf club.  Learning how to do this yourself can save you tons of money and time in the long run. 

Golf shaft pullers typically don't require a vice.  They are typically screw types with a rubber shaft clamp.  They retail for about $150 in stores, but can be found at wholesale prices online.  If you reshaft one or two clubs, the puller pretty much pays for itself.
